Pure’s Nevada Drill Program Confirms Lithium Values

Vancouver, November 5th 2014, Pure Energy Minerals Limited (TSXV: PE) (FRANKFURT: AHG) (the “Company” or “Pure Energy”) is very pleased to provide a report on the analytical results of the recent and successfully completed drill program on its lithium brines project, located in Clayton Valley, Esmeralda County, Nevada USA. The CV/DB property (“the Property”) is located contiguous and to the southeast of to the only producing lithium mine in the United States, Rockwood Lithium’s Silver Peak lithium brine mine.

The drill hole, CV-01, twinned a historical drill hole (the “SPD –09”). The hole reached a targeted depth of 274 m (900 feet). Prior to sampling, the hole was stabilized, flushed and pumped. Additional information on the drilling and the geology of the intersected formations are in the news release from the 3rd of October 2014:https://pureenergyminerals.com/pure-completes-successful-lithium-drill-program-in-nevada/

Fieldwork was overseen by the Operator, GeoXplor Corp. Samples were collected from the pumped fluids of CV-01 by a qualified independent technical person under the company’s strict sampling procedure and chain of custody and were submitted to the accredited laboratory of Maxxam Analytics Inc. in Burnaby, B.C. The method of atomic spectroscopy was applied to determine the quantity of a total of 33 elements in the fluid sample. The project relevant values are for lithium, potassium and magnesium and are reported by Maxxam Analytical as the following (in bracket re-assay results):

264 ppm for lithium (Li), (255 ppm)

502 ppm for magnesium (Mg), (486 ppm)

4450 for potassium (K), (4650 ppm)

The above values confirm the historically reported analytical results of well SPD-09 and have an acceptable variation of about 10%. It is the Company’s belief that the sample likely represents an amalgam of multiple aquifers. Analysis of the SPD 09 drill log confirms this belief through intersections of significant mineralization, significant lithium-rich zones at a number of locations across the intersected brine horizon. These results add confidence to the Company’s geological interpretations of the mineralization at Clayton Valley. The current interpretation is based on drill data received to date and is subject to change as additional data is received.

With the completion and sampling of the well CV-01 the Company accomplished its goal to identify the lithium enriched brines at a depth of about 140 m –274 m below surface. The Company will continue further bulk sampling of the brine for continued analysis and for testing for lithium recovery process testing and a downhole geophysics program will be conducted to provide additional information on the vertical stratigraphy/brine heterogeneity to establish a database necessary for future hydrological modeling.

Pure Energy CEO Robert Mintak stated: “We are very pleased with our drill results as it confirms the robust potential of our project in Nevada. Moving forward, the company will accelerate activities both above surface and below surface in the coming months.”

Pure Energy is well positioned to establish itself as a domestic, environmentally friendly source of advanced battery grade materials. The Company is focused on the development of low cost, low risk, lithium mineral properties in conjunction with the testing and development of innovative processing technologies with reduced environmental impact, enhanced recovery and a fast track to production.

Pure Energy has an option agreement with GeoXplor Corp., a privately owned entity, to acquire a 100% interest in the CV/DB lithium brine claims.

Gerhard Jacob, a director of Pure Energy Minerals, and competent and qualified person under NI 43-101 has reviewed and approved the technical information supplied by Maxxam Analytics and on-site geologist, CPG.,W. Feyerabend.
